at the Presidential Ceremony of the first Tanzania - Uganda Oil and Gas Symposium held at
Tanzania State House, Dar-es-Salaam on 28th/11/ 2021. The symposium focused on functional
development of the oil and gas sector, as well as the mechanisms of doing and promoting business
between the two countries. It is also expected to increase private sector awareness of the policies
and regulatory frameworks for oil and gas in Uganda and Tanzania - and also create synergies
and areas of cooperation between private sector companies in the two countries.
Combating Wildlife Training (CWT) in Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar, and Arusha to equip staff from
the aviation sector, including cargo operators, airport operators, and other key stakeholders with
the necessary awareness and skills to detect and report wildlife trafficking in the airport.
