INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 2ND TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING EXHIBITION FROM 27TH MAY TO 2ND JUNE 2021 AT JAMHURI STADIUM- DODOMA

Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) would like to inform her members and the general public that the Government through the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) in partnership with TPSF is organizing the second technical education and training exhibition planned to take place from 28th May to 2nd June, 2021 at Jamhuri Stadium — Dodoma. The Exhibitions theme is "Strengthening Stakeholders Collaboration in Skills Development for Industrial Prosperity in Tanzania".

For years now, employers have been naming skills deficiencies are one of the obstacles to businesses' operations. Employers are of the view that soft skills rather than hard skills comprise most of the skills gaps that most graduates who come from the training institutions have. Recent studies revealed that 96% of employers reported skills deficiencies as one of the major obstacles to their business operations (ATE, 2016; Hong et al., 2016).

This event will be preceded by a one-day forum scheduled on 27th May 2021 at the PSSF conference room in Dodoma. The Forum sets to strategize on the involvement of employers in training delivery in order to reduce the challenge of Low Public-Private Sector Cooperation in the Governance and Delivery of Training Programs. The forum will strategize on employer's engagement more proactively in training design and delivery to ensure that providers and quality assurance regulators can deliver high quality, market-relevant skills. The event aims to bring together key stakeholders in the Technical Education Ecosystem including Training Institutions, Policy Makers, Employers, Development Partners and Permanent Secretaries to discuss skills-related challenges and propose solutions to tap the challenges. Participation in the forum is free.

Therefore, TPSF would like to invite you to participate in this very important forum. For those who wish to participate in the exhibition in which you will have the opportunity to promote and market your business a small amount participation fee of TZS 2,000,000/= (Two Million) has been set. This will cover the cost of one 3m x 3m exhibition booth with electricity, security, toilets, sanitation and water. Each additional booth will cost 1,000,000/=.

TPSF will appreciate receiving your booking by submitting the attached space booking form by 15th April 2021. There is a limited number of booths for commercial firms and space will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. The exhibition fees should be paid latest by 31st April 2021 upon request of a Control Number from NACTE. Yours Sincerely,

TANZANIA PRIVATE SECTOR FOUNDATION (TPSF)
